In my artistic work, I often use the dynamic of arranging
people and animals in relation to each other. Emphasising
the human in relation to the animal reinforces states and
behaviour which I find interesting.

The symbols in the threads which bind together, but which
have also been torn asunder between animal and human,
between culture and nature, the inner and the outer, and
between the robust and the delicate, awaken my appetite
for play and for finding or inventing correlations.

This is how a story starts.

Textiles come into the picture since they harmonize perfectly
with my image creation and the way they attract the
expressivness offered by many techniques.
